Romena Brugnerotto
Hello, I’m Romena, a true Venetian born and raised just outside the magical city. After earning my degree, I discovered my passion for tourism and made it my mission to ensure that every visitor to Venice and Italy feels truly welcome and at home.
Since 2008, I’ve been leading fun-filled tours, and in 2014, I embarked on my freelance journey in Venice. I’ve had the joy of hosting visitors from around the globe, showing them how the wonders of Venice, especially through its local food and wine.
As a professional sommelier since 2014, I’m always on the lookout for the latest and greatest in Venice to share with our guests. My blog is your go-to resource for all things Venice and the Veneto region, from city events and new book releases to the best tips on how to experience Venice to the fullest.

I’m Monica, a Venetian through and through, wearing many hats in the world of food, travel, and storytelling. Born near the shimmering waters of Venice, I’ve spent the better part of my life immersed in the vibrant culture and culinary traditions of this enchanting city.
Since 2010, I’ve had the pleasure of curating unforgettable experiences through my cicchetti food tours and cooking classes, inviting travellers from around the globe to savour the essence of Venetian cuisine. My book, “Andar Per Bacari,” is a testament to the art of cicchetti and the stories they tell.
You may have caught glimpses of me on international TV shows, where I’ve had the privilege of showcasing Venice’s culinary treasures to audiences far and wide. You can also find me on an auditory adventure through “Venice Talks,” my very own podcast dedicated to unravelling the mysteries of Venice.

I’m Susan, the award-winning drinks and travel writer, author of the award-winning Drinks/Luxury Travel blog A Lush Life Manual and host of Lush Life Podcast, where I interview the movers and shakers of the drinks industry.
